¿Por qué escribimos los números como los escribimos?

The Numbers!

Los números que escribimos están compuestos por algoritmos, (1, 2, 3, 4, etc) llamados algoritmos arábigos, para distinguirlos de los llamados algoritmos romanos (I; II; III; IV; etc.).

The numbers that we write are composed by algorithms (1,2,3,…) called: “Arabian Algorithms" to distinguish them from the “Roman Algorithms”, (I,II,III,IV…)

Los árabes popularizaron estos algoritmos, pero su origen se remonta a los comerciantes fenicios que los usaban para contar y anotar su contabilidad comercial.

The arabs popularized these algorithms, but the origen is coming from the fenitian merchans that used them to count and register comercial transaction.


¿Tú te preguntaste alguna vez, el motivo por el cual 1 significa “uno”, 2 significa “dos”, 3 significa “3”…?
But sometimes perhaps you asked yourself why the “1” means “one”, the “2” means “two”, the “3” means “three”.. And so on! Hummmm! Why?
